THE SYSTEM HOME OF
DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION
The Pops Spedster site promotes an instructional system designed to augment the academic and community-based needs of students who have qualified to receive special education services.
DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION (DAI), is a system of instruction that involves the multi-disciplinary team's probing a student's present level of educational performance (PLEP) where each member of that team prepares a summary of that member's observatiions of the student and presents that summary to the team for consideration by the team.
The results of the team's probing can be used to design individualized education plans that meet IDEA requirements.
